Stock that updates as you sell
Keep a list of ingredients with what you have in hand: 10 kg maida, 4 kg cheese. Give a dish its recipe, such as a Margherita using 180 g maida and 120 g cheese, and each accepted order reduces stock by exactly that much.
If an order is cancelled after it was accepted, the stock is put back automatically.
Ready-made recipes for common dishes
You do not have to start from a blank page. ScanYourOrder ships with ready-made recipes for a few hundred common dishes. Apply one, adjust any quantity, copy a recipe from another dish or write your own.
A recipe only starts deducting stock after you have reviewed and confirmed it, so the numbers are always yours.
Main store and outlet stores
Keep bulk purchases in a Main Store and move what the kitchen needs into an Outlet Store. Orders consume stock from the outlet, and every transfer is recorded in a stock ledger.

Frequently asked questions
How does automatic stock deduction work?
Each dish has a recipe listing its ingredients and quantities. When you accept an order, the app deducts those quantities from your stock. Cancelled orders restore the stock.
Which plans include inventory management?
Inventory is included in Growth Pro (₹399 a month) and Hotel Suite (₹499 a month), and in the 15-day free trial.
Do I have to enter a recipe for every dish?
No. Ready-made recipes are available for common dishes, and you can confirm a whole category at once after checking it. Dishes without a confirmed recipe simply do not deduct stock.
